Junior Herbalist Summer Intensive
Our 8-week summer intensive is designed as a foundational learning experience for students who are eager to deepen their understanding of our natural world in a thoughtful, educational setting.

Who’s This For?
This program is best suited for middle and high school students who are excited about a more academic, focused approach to plant study and herbalism.
What's included?
• Foundational herbal terminology and vocabulary
• The basics of creating safe, simple herbal preparations
• Continued skills in foraging, botany, and plant identification
• Introduction to creating herbal monographs for deeper study
Frequently Asked Questions
Where will these classes take place?
Classes will held on Fridays from 11am-2pm at Wild Arts Learning studio in East Springfield. Classes start June 12th and run through July 31st.
What will the students be working on?
Students will be applying skills to create their own mini herbariums, a collection of monographs in which they can always refer back and continue add to as their paths continue. These monographs will include botanical descriptions, facts, history, medicinal / cultural value, and recommended usages for each of the plants we will cover.
What is the cost for this program, and when is it due?
The total cost for this intensive is $120. This will include 8 days of instruction, all necessary supplies, communication outside of class, and optional take home extensions.
The total cost can be split into two payments of $60, which are due on or before the first class in each month (June / July).
Payment(s) may be made using the registration link, given to me in person, or arranged through most online payment options (PayPal, square, cashapp, etc).
